Ramsey v Ellesmere Port preview
Ramsey face Ellesmere Port at home this weekend in Lancs/Cheshire Three in what is a top of the table clash.
They’ve won seven from eight and head the table while the Oilers have an identical playing record but are in second place by virtue of a single bonus point.
Ellesmere Port boast the tightest defence in the league and they’ve score more points than Ramsey too which starts them as statistical favourites.
Ramsey were also handed a game against Prenton which was recorded as a 0-0 scoreline with the Manx side getting a bonus point win but had no opportunity to add to the figures.
The Mooragh Park outfit were disappointed last week with their draw against Douglas Celts after making a number of changes to the squad.
Adam Dunlop sat out last week and his return would boost the front row, with Anthony Fergusson and Eddie Lord both pushing for a return.
One man who won’t be available is Mark Oldfield, who’s serving a one-match suspension.
Ellesmere Port lost at Vagabonds earlier in the season and will be hoping for a happier trip to the Isle of Man this time around.
The match kicks off at 2.15pm at the Mooragh Park on Saturday.
