Former world and British champion was absent from TT 2025

Former TT-winning sidecar competitor Tim Reeves will make his return to road racing on the Island at this year's Southern 100 Road Races.

The multiple world and British champion driver will team up with passenger Kevin Kölsch for the Billown Course event from 7-10 July.

The pair will join forces with Cosmic Racing to run a DMR Kawasaki machine which has been prepared by Manx sidecar legend Dave Molyneux.

Ahead of the meeting, Reeves says: "We’re really pleased to be getting back on an F2 that's been prepared by Moly and to be heading to the Southern 100.

"It’s a fantastic event, and I can’t wait to get back out there with Kevin."

Whilst Reeves is an experienced figure on the 4.25-mile Billown Course, it'll be a Southern 100 debut for Kölsch.

In the last month, Reeves was a notable absentee from the sidecar lineup at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

His TT passenger of recent years, Mark Wilkes, this time linked up with debut driver George Holden on the Snaefell Mountain Course.

Meanwhile, Kölsch made his TT debut this year alongside Wiggert Kranenburg with the duo finishing 14th in both of the three-wheeled races.
