
Two goals from Louis Thornton, the second from the penalty spot, saw Corinthians surprise St John’s last night (Friday).
They came from behind to win 2-1 at Mullen-e-Cloie in the Canada Life Premier League.
Eric Kelly had earlier opened the scoring for the home side who stay second but will be overtaken later today as St Mary’s and Laxey clash in the battle between the third and fourth placed teams.
