Island pro suffers straight sets defeat
Isle of Man pro tennis player Billy Harris' run in the 2024 cinch Championships has been brought to an end this afternoon (21 June).
The former Albany Lawn Tennis Club and Castletown Lawn Tennis Club has suffered a straight sets defeat to Italy's Lorenzo Musetti (3-6, 5-7).
Now, Harris' attention will soon turn to the exciting prospect of making his debut at Wimbledon at the start of July.
It was confirmed earlier this week he'd secured a wildcard entry into the men's singles draw of the 'Grand Slam' after reaching a career-high ATP world ranking of 162 going into this week.
