Manxman was handed qualifying wildcard to compete for place in main draw
Manx tennis star Billy Harris has got his Wimbledon qualifying campaign underway with a victory.
28-year-old Harris, currently ranked 335th in the world, has the chance to potentially make his way into the main Wimbledon draw after being handed a qualifying wildcard for this year's event.
His first qualifying match yesterday (26 June) saw him emerge victorious in an intense three-set showdown with Switzerland's Alexander Ritschard by a score of 5-7, 7-6 (5), 6-2.
Harris' next outing in the qualifiers in the round of 64 sees him face 25th seed, Hugo Gaston of France.
Qualifiers need to win three games to secure their place in the main Wimbledon draw.
