St Mary’s frontman surpasses 300 mark
It was a landmark day for one of the best strikers modern day Manx football has ever seen.
Steven Priestnal hit four as St Mary’s ran out 7-2 winners over Braddan at the Bowl.
And his first goal was his 300th in the Canada Life Premier League.
As well as notching four, Jordan Cooper grabbed a hat-trick for the Saints on a day to savour for Priestnal.
Josh Kelly was the star as Rushen trounced Laxey 6-2.
The southerners came from behind to romp to victory and Kelly claimed ALL six!
His double hat-trick, which included two penalties, sealed the points at Croit Lowey.
The result was no reflection on Laxey teenager Joe Walters who grabbed a first half double for the Miners.
Old Boys edged out battling Ramsey at Blackberry Lane.
Gary Quirk and Dean France got the goals against the much improved northerners.
Douglas Athletic were 7-1 winners at Douglas Royal – Paul Whitley was on target for lowly Royal.
