
The opening round of the Isle of Man Bank Winter Hill League at Cringle Plantation attracted a record number of entrants today.
Seventy-three people, including plenty of newcomers and juniors, tackled the 2.5-mile course.
The race was won by Lloyd Taggart, with Simon Skillicorn and Andy Barron making up the top three.
Jackie Lee was the first lady home, ahead of Rosie Craine and Leslie Webb.
The junior race was won by Jason Moore, with Toby Williams second and Terence George third.
