Lloyd Taggart retained the Manx Mountain Marathon in fine fashion on Saturday.
On a new Autumn date – replacing the traditional Easter event – the change of season didn’t affect Taggart as he finished in a time of four hours, 55 minutes and 56 seconds.
Tom Cringle was second in 5.16.34, followed by Rob Sellors in 5.31.51.
Taggart also won the relay prize as he teamed up with Paul Kneen.
The women’s race was won by Jackie Lee in a time of 5.56.06.
She was followed by Judith Quane (6.47.55) and Rosey Craine (7.04.05).
