
Manxman Lloyd Taggart was the winner of Easter Saturday’s Peel Hill Race.
He finished two seconds ahead of Adam Osborne of Leeds University with Andy Greenleaf third.
It was another fine showing from Greenleaf who won Good Friday’s road race in Port Erin.
He produced an impressive performance down south to finish 20 seconds ahead of Chris Busaileh and Mick Hill.
Martin Malone and Edward Gumbley were the first locals home in 13th and 14th spots and another runner with Manx connections, Andrew Kaighin, representing Liverpool Harriers, finished 16th.
Emma Raven from Leeds has dominated the women’s events at the Easter Athletics Festival.
She won the Hill Race ahead of Emily Birchall and Polly Keen, less than 24 hours after winning the road race.
Katie Good of Manchester University and Keen of Cambridge Greyhounds were second and third respectively.
Her team-mate Claire Day was fourth with Gail Griffiths the first local woman home in fifth.
