Taggart and Lee dominate Snaefell race

Lloyd Taggart and Jackie Lee took the honours at the sixth round of the Rentokil Manx Fell League yesterday.

Taggart completed the Sean Craig-sponsored Snaefell Race in 39 minutes 30 seconds, almost three-and-a-half minutes ahead of Nigel Armstrong, with Simon Skillicorn a further 13 seconds back in third.

In the women's race Lee (51.33) was almost six minutes quicker than second-placed Rosie Craine (57.12).

Michelle Turner (61.04) was third.
