T.T. Organisers deny Dunlop deal announcement

Depsite reports elsewhere, Isle of Man T.T. organisers say there has been no announcement about Michael Dunlop competing at T.T. 2014.

Motorcyle News and Bennetts are reporting he will race for BMW this year after a secret test session, and an announcement will be made tomorrow.

Manx Radio has checked with T.T. organisers who say no such announcement is planned.

There have been persistent rumours on forums that Michael Dunlop is set to compete for the German manufacturer.

However, on the official Michael Dunlop MD Racing Facebook page, Michael says he has neither signed for or tested with BMW.

Dunlop has stated previously that he will take a year out from racing unless the right deal comes along which appeals to him.
