It was an intense but successful weekend for Manx Fell Running champion Lloyd Taggart.
He recorded an impressive fourth place in the latest round of the English Fell Running Championships in the Yorkshire Dales on Saturday.
Less than 24 hours later, the Surby man dominated the Up and Running sponsored Arthur Jones Bradda Fell Race, leading from start to finish.
Second place went to last year’s winner Nigel Armstrong with Willaston’s Ian Gale in third.
The women’s race at Bradda was won by Jackie Lee who finished in a fine sixth place overall ahead of Judith Quane and NAC team-mate Rosie Craine.
Lee also enjoyed a top performance in the English Championship round, finishing ninth.
