
Manx Grand Prix newcomer John Simpson has claimed an incredible victory in the Senior this afternoon.
The Northern Irishman snatched the win at the end of the final lap.
Earlier in the race it seemed winner of Tuesday's Junior race Wayne Kirwan was nailed on to make it a double, having led much of the Senior by anything up to over a minute, but eased off too much as the roads got wetter.
He eventually had to settle for third, after another newcomer, Andrew Soar, managed to get past him too.
