Strong start for U18s rugby sevens squad in Lisbon

Manx side smashes Jaguares 52-5

The Island U18s rugby sevens squad have had a dominating start to their Junior Sevens International Cup debut.

The Manx side smashed Jaguares this morning, finishing 52-5. 

Scorers were:

Kyle Martin 5
Luca Simmons 2
Callum Smith 2

The match was streamed live on the IOM Rugby Sevens Facebook page.

The Manx side couldn't quite re-enact the win in their second match of the day.

They narrowly lost out to host team Agronomia Rugby, 14-17 with captain Luca Simmons scoring 9 points and Craig Martin 5. 

The Island squad is set to go head-to-head with SL Benifica tomorrow.
