Spirit of the TT Award given to Ryan Kneen

Dan Kneen's brother recognised

The 'Spirit of TT' Award has been given to Ryan Kneen.

The accolade recognises a selfless contribution to the event's success or an outstanding achievement.

Ryan's brother, the hugely popular local rider Dan Kneen, was killed during an incident in practice week.

Ryan returned to the mountain course a couple of days later for a practice lap wearing one of Dan's spare helmets, and received respectful applause all the way round.

Dan's funeral will take place a week today at Douglas Crematorium starting at 2:45pm.

Members of the public are asked to allow family and close friends to be seated first, and a PA system will in place.
