The Isle of Man Special Olympics Team has taken part in the Summer Games Opening Ceremony in front of 110,000 people packed into the Shanghai Stadium.
Guests of Honour at the event included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan and Quincy Jones.
The Manx squad of 25 athletes and 14 coaches marched into the arena in their tracksuits as part of the 3 hour show-piece.
During the lap around the track, the team were able to spot the 10 Manx supporters in the crowd.
The athletes have also taken part in the Torch Run and other community cultural events.
They have also attended the Healthy Athlete's programme where physical examinations were given by a team of volunteer doctors checking eyesight, hearing, teeth, feet and general fitness. All have been given sunglasses.
Some of the sports are leaving the main hotel to move to accommodation nearer to their particular venues, ahead of the sporting action getting underway.
