Southern 100: Todd retains solo championship title and Crowe Brothers set sidecar lap record

Action on the Billown Course comes to an end for 2025

Davey Todd has become a three-time Southern 100 champion after claiming first place in the Solo Championship Race this afternoon.

Close behind was Dean Harrison in second and Michael Dunlop in third.

Meanwhile, Manx brothers Ryan and Callum Crowe took the top spot in the Sidecar Championship, securing an outright lap record of 103.281mph in the process.

Pete Founds and Jevan Walmsley secured another podium spot in second while Tim Reeves and Kevin Kolsch came third.

Earlier in the afternoon, Michael Dunlop took first place and his 26th win on the Billown Course in the 600cc Challenge Race, just 0.176 seconds ahead of Davey Todd.

Mike Brown made the podium once again, this time in third.

Then Rob Hodson came close to his lap record time, finishing first in the Lightweight Race.

Davey Todd once again made the podium in second place while Michael Sweeney came home in third.

The 70th anniversary meeting on the Billown Course concludes with a prize presentation in Castletown's Market Square tonight, getting underway at 8:30pm.
Roads around the Billown Course have now reopened.
