Southern 100 fundraiser's efforts top £17,000

Tricia Clague has been raising money for club since 1996

An avid volunteer and fundraiser for the Southern 100 Road Races has now raised more than £17,000 to help with essential services to keep the races going.

At the latest annual presentation at the Old Market Inn in Douglas last night (14 September), Tricia Clague handed over her latest donation cheque of £1,250 to the Southern 100 Club.

Having first started her efforts in 1996, Tricia's fundraising is now in its 27th year and provides funds for important aspects such as safety equipment on the Billown Course and assisting riders and their families when the need arises.
