Golfers going well in opening round

The Isle of Man has won a team silver medal in the Women's Mountain Bike race at the Gotland Island Games.

Emma Atkinson, Emily Looker and Kirree Quayle rode in the event which was reduced from seven to six laps after a managers meeting.

That was due to the length of the course and the heat.

Daryl Callister is currently joint the Men's Golf after an opening round of 69 and Tom Harris is third on 72.

Alex McAuley is 8th on 74 and Jonathan Corke scored an 82.
