Junior competitor continues impressive personal run at Meary Veg
Report by Peter Kelly:
The Winter All Round Championship kindly sponsored by Brian Faragher was held at Meary Veg Santon with 20 competitors taking part in dull and very wet conditions at first then dry and sunny to finish with.
The shooters were spilt into four squads to shoot the DTL and English skeet, halfway through the first round of shooting had to be suspended due to the torrential rain coming down.
The leader after the English skeet and DTL disciplines was junior shooter, Joe Faragher with 140 points, mainly down to hitting a straight in the English Skeet, in second place on 134 was Michael Cross with junior, Zac Bellhouse in third place on 130.
The Pro-sporting section was shot in reverse order with the best five shooting last and at the end we had the following results.
In C class, Richard Kelly was third with 106 points with David Morgan in second place on 137 and taking C class by one point was Nicky Barnett on 138.
