Devlin and Corrin also winners during tricky conditions

The first round of the Utopia Hair Salon Winter series English Skeet league was held at Meary Veg, Santon in dull damp and windy conditions making the targets hard to track.
The leader after the first round was Michael Cross who made it look easy hitting all 25 targets;in equal second place on 23 were Mark Corrin, Brian Faragher and Andy Morgan followed by Joe Faragher on 22.
With no break taken, the second round got under way straight away and at the end of it we had lady shooter, Jennie Robertson in third place in C class with 34 points; in second place on 36 was David Morgan with Les Devlin taking C class with 37 points.
Peter Kelly was third in B class on 40 with Mark Hepworth taking second place on 41 and Mark Corrin taking B class with 43 points.
Junior, Zac Bellhouse was third in A class on 44 with another junior, Joe Faragher taking second place with 46 points but taking A class with 47 points was Michael Cross.

A Class: 1st M Cross 25,22=47,2nd J Faragher jnr 22,24=46, 3rd Z Bellhouse jnr 21,23=44
B Class: 1st M Corrin 23,20=43,2nd M Hepworth 20,21=41,3rd P Kelly 19,21=40
