Rand and Corrin also among winners in Santon

Report by Peter Kelly:

The second round of the Brian Kelly Winter Series Pro-Sporting league was held at Meary Veg Santon in very windy, damp and very dull conditions.

The joint-leaders after the first layout were 'on fire' - Rob Corlett and Mark Barnett with 23 points, in joint-third place were Will Rand and Peter Kelly on 21 with Mark Corrin, John Moore, Brian Faragher and Cobus Van de Berg on 19.

The second layout on the right was completely different to the left but with the same amount of difficulty proved no match for Corlett returning a score of 22, even missing his last two targets to finish high gun on the day and taking A class with 45 points, second place in A went to Mark Barnett with 41 points with Peter Kelly taking third place with 37 points.

Will Rand was first in B Class with 42 points followed by Jeff Corkill and John Moore in equal-second place on 36.

Mark Corrin was first in C class with 37 points followed by Ed Rixon in second place with 32 points and Cobus Van De Berg third on 31.
