Seniors break 1,000 point barrier

Defending champions beat EasyGym 4-1

Team AON broke the 1,000 point mark in Division A squash Winter League with a win over EasyGym this week.

They registered individual wins in the second to fifth string battles to overcome their opponents 4-1 in matches and 231-191 in points.

Star performer for The Seniors on the night was second string man Patrick Fitzpatrick who dispatched of Paul Barnett in straight sets (15-9/15-13/15-8).

Malcolm Levy provided the only positive on a disappointing night for EasyGym, seeing off AON's top seed Robin Crease 3-0 (15-13/15-6/15-7).

Next up for the defending champions is a match against X Stoneart who inflicted their only defeat of the season so far.

EasyGym meanwhile are next in action against E-Cerebro on 4 December.
