Saints star in cup clashes

Geordies crush Ramsey while Marys win at Peel

St Mary's won the match of the day in the ECAP FA Cup quarter-finals.

They returned from Douglas Road with a 1-0 win over Peel thanks to a second half goal from Matty Kent-Lloyd.

The other saints through to the semi-finals are St Georges who thrashed Ramsey 10-0 at Glencrutchery Road.

Calum Morrissey, Johnny Myers, Furo Davies and Connor Hislop were each on target twice.

Corinthians came through 3-1 away at a battling Colby. Stephen Whitley scored in the first minute but the hosts equalised through a Carl Hickey penalty.

Goals from Danny Gerrard and Sean Doyle sealed the contest for the visitors.

Rushen also made the last four with a solid 4-0 win at Croit Lowey.

Kyle Lunn, Steve Riding, Aaron Hawley and Michael Williams were the players with the goals for the southerners.
