Win unfolds in commentary montage
Michael Rutter put aside frustrations caused by a near four hour delay to Monday's Classic TT action, to chalk up a decisive victory in the 350cc race.
The Midlands rider fought a close battle over the first two laps with Daniel Cooper, who steadily closed-in on Rutter to gain a lead of more than a second going into the third and final lap.
But after Cooper retired at Ballacraine, Rutter took a commanding lead and with open road ahead, romped home aboard his Honda with more than a minute to spare.
In his wake, a war of attrition saw only four of the 15 fastest qualifiers finish the race.
Phil McGurk the leading privateer, looked to have grabbed the final podium place but moved into the runner-up slot when Chris Swallow retired at Graham Memorial.
That left a delighted Doug Snow on a Ducati, to claim third place.
