Rushen top Combination One

Rushen United are top of Combination One on goal difference after two games.

They beat St. George's 6-3 at Croit Lowey with Craig Murphy scoring a hat-trick.

Laxey and Douglas Royal have also won their opening two fixtures - last night Laxey defeated Colby 4-3 while Douglas Royal overcame Braddan 3-1.

Defending Champions Old Boys opened their campaign with a 4-2 victory under the floodlights at St. John's and Peel slipped to a 4-2 defeat to Douglas Athletic.

The match between St. Mary's and Corinthians was postponed.

In Combination Two - Ramsey Youth Centre, Malew and Castletown have made it two wins from two played.
