Cronk y Voddy sports gets underway at 2pm
One of the rural highlights of the Island's national day takes place this afternoon just up the road from Tynwald Hill.
The traditional Cronk y Voddy sports get underway at 2pm on the field just off the famous straight on the TT course.
The family event features lots of events for children - including old favourites such as egg and spoon races and a bike race for the Brian Quirk memorial shield - plus the infamous all-comers welcome dog racing.
A marquee will be open for hot and cold food from 12.30.
The event is organized by the Cronk Voddy Ploughing Society and all proceeds will go to Alzheimer’s Society (Isle of Man)
