Rugby: Ramsey through to Cheshire Bowl final

They beat Southern Nomads to progress

Ramsey edged their way into the final of the Cheshire Bowl after a hard fought scrap with Southern Nomads at the Mooragh Park. 

Some late Ramsey tries put some gloss on the scoreboard in a game where Nomads were in contention for much of it.

Ramsey hooker Ben Hardman bagged two tries and there were also scores from Josh Corteen, Conor Cracknell, Tom Moffatt, Brayden Roche and comeback man Jake Severs. 

Moffatt also kicked four conversions. Clayton Matthews, Martin Thompson, Finn McGregor and Conor Stephens all went in for Nomads with Zac Hand adding three conversions.
