Isle of Man-based co-driver Rob Fagg teamed up with event local and 2008 winner Andy Fenwick to score a podium finish on the recent UTS Cheviot Keith Knox Stages rally.
The new pairing used their ex-factory Seat Ibiza F2 Kit Car to good effect in tricky conditions to finish third and in the process pleased the many spectators on the event with the sight and sound of the World Rally Championship car.
"It was a fantastic experience to sit in an F2 car, the type which I grew up watching as a kid," enthused Rob at the event finish.
"Andy and I have had a great day and to be honest the result was totally unexpected.
"At the start we would have been more than happy with a top five in these conditions, but as it is we have done enough for third.
"I have to say that after my initial nerves I have not stopped smiling all day."
