'Minute error' led to crash
A 'minute error' contributed to the death of a road racer from Nottingham, an inquest has heard.
Dan Hegarty was killed in a crash at the Macau Grand Prix in 2017.
The inquest concluded at Nottingham Council House yesterday.
It heard a police forensic collision report indicated Hegarty left it too late to brake safely on a dangerous bend.
Assistant coroner James Hargan concluded Mr Hegarty's death was accidental.
The 31-year-old won the Privateers' Trophy at TT 2016, having made his debut on the Mountain Course in 2011.
