Three events over as many days
Hundreds will embark on a 10km road race later as the Easter Festival of Running gets underway.
Tonight's event takes competitors on a scenic route in the south of the Island.
Runners will start at 6.45pm on Port Erin promenade, with a road closure in place from 4pm until no later than 9pm this evening.
On Saturday, the athletes head to Peel for a hill race, with the men starting at 2.15pm and the women away 50 minutes later.
The final event of the festival is in the capital, with a 5km race along Douglas promenade.
Organiser David Griffiths believes the race course this evening for the 10km event may catch a few of the participants off guard:
Football: Corinthians book place in Hospital Cup final
Rugby: A win and a defeat for national sides on the road
