Reid praised by Meadows

GB athlete impressed by Manx youngster

Great Britain athlete Jenny Meadows says Manx athlete Catherine Reid is an outstanding young prospect.

Meadows was on the Island yesterday for the GO Run for Fun event for primary school children.

Reid won a bronze medal at the recent World Youth Championships in Colombia in the 400m in a time of 52.25 seconds.

Jenny Meadows says her recent performances have come to the attention of many in British athletic.
