Reid on British Athletics Futures programme

Coach Di Shimell included too

Great news for Manx athlete Catherine Reid.

She is one of 34 athletes who will be part of the British Athletics Futures programme over the next year.

The scheme will also assist Di Shimell who coaches Catherine.

The project underpins the World Class Performance Programme and Catherine and Di will benefit from financial and medical support.

Catherine won a bronze medal in the 400m at the World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia, in July.
