Athlete 'staying positive' after changes

Island athlete Joe Reid has a tough week ahead after changes to the track programme on the Gold Coast.

Organisers have announced a series of revisions meaning the 800m event will no longer have a semi-final.

Instead, three qualifying heats will take place on Tuesday, with the final going ahead on Thursday as planned.

Team Isle of Man's Steve Partington says it makes competition 'much harder for Joe, but he is staying positive' - with Joe himself adding 'never say never'.
