FC Isle of Man four unbeaten ahead of meeting with newly-promoted side

After extending their unbeaten run to four matches last weekend, FC Isle of Man head on their travels for a midweek clash in the NWCFL Premier Division tonight (4 November).

Following a 2-2 draw at home to Longridge Town last Saturday, 'The Ravens' have a quick turnaround to face newly-promoted Euxton Villa this evening.

FC Isle of Man caretaker manager, Rick Holden says player and staff availability are two of the challenges they're facing ahead of tonight's clash.

Going forward, he's confident his squad has the quality to keep climbing up the standings:

Heading into tonight's encounter, just one point separates the two sides in the league table.

FC Isle of Man sit in 21st place after 19 games - four points above the drop zone - with Euxton Villa one point better off and having played two games fewer.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs.

Whilst the Manx side have gone four without defeat with two wins and two draws, Euxton Villa will be hoping for a turnaround in fortunes with Matt Atherton's side currently winless in their last five in all competitions.

Euxton Villa vs FC Isle of Man will kick-off tonight at the Jim Fowler Memorial Ground at 8pm.
