Ramsey beat visitors Capenhurst 22-0 at Mooragh Park to get their title challenge back on track in appalling weather conditions in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Four.
John Watling put them ahead with a ninth minute try and skipper Tynan Pritchard doubled the lead on 20 minutes with a virtually identical short range break. The lead stayed at 10-0 until half-time.
Early in the second half Danny Turner’s break allowed player-coach Gareth Hinge over for Ramsey’s third try and a few minutes later centre Nick McCudden put the result beyond doubt with their fourth.
Fintan Cummins added the extras to round the day off at 22-0.
