Ramsey edged out at Dukinfield

Ramsey caused promotion contenders Dukinfield some worries in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two, despite slipping to a 10-3 defeat.

The game was switched to Southport as Dukinfield’s pitch was frozen and after getting over the initial disruption, Ramsey took the lead courtesy of a Fintan Cummins penalty and held it until half-time.

The big Dukinfield pack took charge in the second half, however, and notched up two tries without a Ramsey response.
