Ramsey B win in Plate

Ramsey B saw off the challenge of Emerging Nomads in the only game of the day in the Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement Manx Plate.

A Dave Edge penalty had kept Nomads in the hunt and a second half try from Paddy Croft brought them back into it but a late Ramsey breakwaway sealed the points and a 15-8 success.

In women's North West Division Two, Vagabonds recorded a comprehensive 63-5 romp at Colne and Nelson.
