One of the Island's premier sporting events of the year has been cancelled.
Organisers of Rally Isle of Man say they have been left with no option due to a series of difficulties.
This year's event was moved to the end of October at the request of the Isle of Man Government but it has attracted very few entries.
The absence of ferry crossings from Ireland and Liverpool has led to transport problems for crews, teams, officials and fans.
And organisers say a clash with a Hop-tu-Naa ghost walk organised by Manx National Heritage had put the flagship Castletown spectator stages in doubt.
Press Officer Chris Boyd says the whole situation is a shambles:-
