A full entry has been confirmed for the returning Chris Kelly Memorial Rally on the Isle of Man next month.

The meeting is returning in a one-day format on Saturday, 4 October for the first time in three years.

Manx Auto Sport says the original plan was to have a maximum of 60 entries but this has been increased by ten due to demand and all spaces have been filled.

Mark Ellison of Manx Auto Sport says: "When we decided to run the Chris Kelly Rally as a one-day event, there were some doubts about the potential competitor response.

"We are absolutely thrilled to have taken 70 entries and filled the entry list.

"It promises to be a tremendous day on some of the classic roads of the island that traditionally feature in our Manx Rally in the spring."

The rally will feature eight special stages and around 54 competitive miles on classic roads in the centre of the Island around Brandywell and central service at Jurby airfield.

Scrutineering will take place on Friday, 3 October at the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas before operations move to Jurby the day after.

Roads around the stages will close on Saturday, 4 October at 8am and reopen no later than 6pm.
