Sam Brand shows off his new 'custom kicks'

Manx professional cyclist Sam Brand has been showing off his new, custom-made cycling shoes on social media.

Produced by Korean manufacturer Ezni, they include his name, the Three Legs of Mann - because Sam says he's always 'beyond proud' to represent his home - and a blue circle, which is the universal symbol for diabetes.

Sam, who lives with the condition, rides for Team Novo Nordisk, which is made up of riders who all have diabetes.

The team says it races to inspire, educate and empower everyone who is affected by it.
