Marown have earned what could be a vital point in their bid to beat the drop.
After their victory at Corinthians last week, the Canada Life Premier League’s bottom club drew 2-2 with St John’s last night (Friday) to give themselves another top flight lifeline.
In a match played at the Bowl because of the weather, Marown led twice through Richard Mulhern and Gary Christian only to be pegged back by Stephen Glover and Harry Rothwell goals for St John’s.
However, the westerners – who move up to second place in the table - were unable to get a winner and Marown are now level on points with Ramsey, albeit having played three games more.
