Yorkshireman was involved in an incident at St Ninian's on Thursday
Veteran rider Chris Petty was involved in an incident at St Ninian's during Thursday evening's TT practice session.
The Yorkshiremen was taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment.
He was reportedly seen sat up and conscious before as he was transferred to hospital to be treated.
Petty made his Mountain Course debut in 1987 and has one podium finish to his name, coming in the 2009 TTXGP.
It's since been confirmed he suffered a fractured ankle in the incident at St Ninian's.
