Personal Bests for Manx athletes at English Schools Championships

Sinclair shines in 400m

There were personal bests galore for Manx athletes in a successful weekend at the English Schools Championships.

Ben Sinclair ran a time of 49.51 seconds in the 400m final - a PB that ran him into second place.

There was another personal best performance in the 1500m where Macey Hillier finished sixth in a time of 5 minutes 16.7 seconds.

Off the track, Regan Corrin leaped into fifth place in the junior high jump, equalling his PB of 1m 75cms.

Sticking with high jump and in his event, James Margrave claimed fifth place with a jump of 1m 95cms.

In the Intermediate Boys Discuss, Rob Docherty finished in seventh with a throw of 42.08 metres.
