Perfect 50 for Oates at the Ayres!

Kevin Oates wins opening skeet round

Kevin Oates was the winner of the first round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter English Skeet league at Blue Point on Sunday.

He hit a perfect score of 50/50 to take the top prize.

Marty Kneen was second on 49 with Paul Mihailovits third on 48.

The league is kindly sponsored by Paul’s Gunstocks.

A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 50/50; 2, Martin Kneen 49; 3, Paul Mihailovits 49.

B Class: 1, Bob Corlett 43; 2, Ted Kermeen 42; 3, Ben Richards 41.

C Class: 1, Tony Tongue 43; 2, Ted Davis 42; 3, Fred Waggett 37.
