Manx competitor targeting more success for next season
Manx sidecar racer Harry Payne has described this year's FIM Sidecar World Championship campaign as 'a learning year' but one with several positives thrown in.
He and passenger Kevin Rousseau secured a top-five finish for the Steinhausen Racing team's debut in the championship following the final round of the series in Portugal at the end of October.
Despite fighting some mechanical issues during the season, the pairing managed some notable results including a second-place finish in Germany in May and a sprint race victory in Austria in August.
Looking at plans for the next season, Payne says they've secured a deal which could get them in the running to challenge higher up the grid:
