Some challenges still facing sport on and off-Island, says correspondent
There's optimism for the future of rugby on the Isle of Man as the sport continues to face challenges both on and off-Island.
The latest season is in full swing with the likes of Douglas and Vagabonds continuing their respective campaigns in the English leagues whilst locally the Ravenscroft Manx Shield is well underway.
Manx Radio's rugby correspondent Dave Christian says things are looking promising right now for the fixture and competitions schedules.
He adds some of the difficulties the sport faces are not exclusive to the Isle of Man:
Triathlon: Trials to be held for 2027 Island Games squad
Shooting: Bellhouse impresses during wintry league round
Football: Union Mills seeking more players for women's team
Golf: 'Amazing' to earn full Ladies European Tour card, says Dawson
