
Another strong performance from the swimmers has continued an outstanding day for the Manx athletes at the NatWest Island Games.
Fifiteen year-old Grant Halsall broke his second Island Games record to take gold in the 200 metres backstroke, and went on to add silver in the 50 metre butterfly to his expanding medal collection.
Olivia Rawlinson completed a hattrick of golds in the pool, winning the 200 metres backstroke. She also collected a silver as part of the women's four by 100 metres freestyle team.
The men's four by 100 metre medley relay team, which includes Halsall, got the bronze.
Following those performances, the Isle of Man was in second place in the overall table, with 17 gold medals, 17 silvers and ten bronze.
The latest table shows the Faroe Islands as leaders, with 21 golds, 14 silvers and 21 brinze.
