Douglas Royal hit Malew for ten in Comby Two
Old Boys have opened up a ten point lead over Corinthians in Combination One after beating Ayre 3-0 at Blackberry Lane on Tuesday evening.
Elsewhere, Ramsey Youth Centre pulled off a surprise when they beat third-placed Rushen 5-3, Marown and St. Mary's drew 4-4, Union Mills returned from Ramsey with a 5-1 success and Laxey won 4-0 at St. John's.
Douglas Athletic are now out of the running for the Combination Two title after Douglas Royal thrashed Malew 10-0 - Ross McWhinnie scored four and Kevin Ballard helped himself to a hat-trick.
Royal are now four points ahead of Athletic with both sides having just one game left to play.
The only other contenders are Braddan who beat Gymns 4-2 - Braddan are 10 points behind Douglas Royal but have four games in hand - the teams meet next Tuesday.
The other results - Douglas & District beat Michael 5-2, Castletown won by the same scoreline at Foxdale and Pulrose recorded a 3-0 victory at Onchan.
