Island up against northern big guns
There's a big day of golf at Mount Murray.
The Isle of Man is hosting the prestigious Northern Counties Championship.
The Manx team face the best amateur players from Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland and Yorkshire.
Each county fields six players - Island captain Geoff Skillicorn has named a strong team.
Tom Gandy, Kevin Moore, Daryl Callister, Tom Harris, Alex McCauley and Jonathan Corke have been selected with Robert Noon and Chris Kneen as reserves.
The competition is over 36 holes.
Play started at the Santon venue at 7.30am.
